Co-op

Azeroth Survivors multiplayer: host and join a run

Co-op starts on the character picker: open Co-op, then host a lobby or join one with a code. A lobby holds 5 players including the host, and a run needs at least 2.

Checked in game client v0.141.0 on 2026-11-05

Open the co-op menu

The Co-op button sits at the bottom of the character picker. It opens three actions:

ActionWhat it does
LobbiesLists public lobbies for this game version. Use Refresh to check again.
Host the lobbyCreates a lobby with your name, visibility and player limit.
Join by codeJoins a lobby with a lobby code and, if set, a password.

Host a lobby

  1. On the character picker, choose Co-op, then Host the lobby.
  2. Enter a Lobby name. A Description (optional) can say what the run is about.
  3. Choose Public: in the list or Private: by code only.
  4. Set Max players. The buttons run from 1 to 5, so 5 is the cap in this version. The host takes one of those slots.
  5. Add a Password (optional), then create the lobby.

A co-op run needs at least two players. The client puts it plainly: A co-op run needs at least two players: share the lobby code and wait for someone to join.

Join a lobby

  1. Open Co-op, then Lobbies for the public list or Join by code for a code.
  2. Enter the Lobby code and the password if the host set one.
  3. Wait for the host to enter the zone. The party enters together.

You keep your own hero: You play the hero on your picker, in the host's zone. The zone and difficulty still have to be open for your class, because Everyone who joins needs this zone and difficulty open with their class.

Test status on 2026-11-05

Lobbies, Host the lobby and Join by code all showed Co-op is unavailable: the co-op service cannot be reached. We could not complete a real join, so the steps after joining are not verified here. Follow the in-game prompts once the service is reachable.
