Azeroth Survivors beginner guide

Six short pages take you from opening the official game to your first run, a co-op lobby, a safe save file and a fix for common errors. Read them in order, or jump to the problem in front of you.

Checked in game client v0.141.0 on 2026-11-05

The six pages, in order

  1. How to start Open the official game page, pass the WebGPU check, choose a hero and enter Elwynn Forest.
  2. Your first run Read the run clock, pick upgrade cards and meet the five Elwynn Forest bosses on schedule.
  3. Multiplayer Host or join a co-op lobby, set the player limit and understand the join errors we could reproduce.
  4. Save file and transfer Find the browser save, export it, restore an automatic backup and move progress to another browser or computer.
  5. Platforms Compare the browser version, the Windows download, Mac, Linux and what we saw on a phone-sized screen.
  6. Troubleshooting Work through ten verified errors and symptoms, from a missing WebGPU to a full party.

Before you open the game

  • Use a WebGPU browser. The official page asks for a current Chrome, Edge or Safari; Linux Chrome needs a flag.
  • No account is needed for the browser version. The page downloads the world data and goes straight to the character picker.
  • The browser save is local. If you care about progress, read the save page before clearing site data or changing browsers.

Every page in this set was checked in game client v0.141.0 on 2026-11-05. Where the client or the official page did not give an answer, the page says so instead of guessing.

Where these guides stop

They cover the first run, co-op setup, saves, platforms and startup errors. They do not cover build optimisation: for that, use the class builds and the tier list linked at the bottom of each page.
