Optional in-game companion
Survivors Builds Guide
Install the addon once, then copy a build code in the planner and paste it in game to switch builds. The addon only displays the build; it never plays the game for you.
Install
Set up once, then import build codes
- Install the addon once. Download the zip and install Survivors Builds Guide 1.1.0. Web: Options → AddOns → Install AddOns and select the zip. Windows: Open AddOns Folder and put the SurvivorsBuildsGuide folder there.
- Copy the code in the planner. Open a complete build, choose Share, then Copy addon code.
- Paste it in game. Type /sbg import, paste the code, check the build name, class, version and the four stage counts, then press Confirm. Type /sbg later to open it again; it stays after you log in again.
Offline backup
Offline backup
Download build-data.lua and overwrite the file with the same name in the addon folder. This works without /sbg import, but the file is replaced by hand, so download it again for every build.
Scope and limits
What the addon can and cannot read
- Can show
- Build name, class, game version, all four stages, skill order, gear names and run-item targets.
- Cannot automate
- It only displays the build. It does not play the game, spend talent points, choose upgrades, inspect your save or contact the website.
- Data boundary
- Imports are checked in the game. Only the build code you paste or the build-data.lua file you replace is loaded.
This addon uses only the game's standard interface frame and slash-command APIs. A later game update can still change compatibility; the website remains the source of truth for the full build.
Save safety
Keep an encrypted copy of a game save
Signed-in users can choose a save file, encrypt it locally with a recovery key, and keep the ciphertext for 7, 30 or 90 days. The site cannot read the file or reset a lost key.
